  • Asian factories have been supplying Western markets for several decades now, so compliance with Western standards is common but admittedly not universal. 


    As your sourcing partner, it is our responsibility to source furniture that meets the highest quality standards so we thoroughly vet our factories, checking for best manufacturing processes and certifications such as ISO 9001 and BIFMA. 

     

    In most cases we will have already worked with selected factories so we know their capabilities and with our extensive network, we can select the factories that are most suited to manufacturing the furniture specified. 

     

    While choosing the right factories is important, our experience and built-in quality control checks at every stage of production  (including photography and videos which are shared with the client) layer over another level of checks to give our clients peace of mind. 

  • Many factories hold certifications like SA8000 (Social Accountability) or work under international frameworks for ethical labor practices. We can help vet suppliers for compliance with these standards.

  • Asia has a robust supply chain with and logistics businesses have experience in meeting tight deadlines. We have almost two decades of experience shipping to clients around the world so we are adept at managing production and shipping schedules to achieve timely deliveries. 

  • Working with reputable factories and agencies reduces the risk of intellectual property theft. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and contracts can also safeguard your designs.

  • Yes, most factories welcome site visits and this can be arranged in most cases. Virtual factory tours are also an option for clients unable to travel.

  • While shipping has a carbon footprint, many logistics providers now offer carbon-offset programs. Additionally, sourcing sustainable materials and reducing waste during production can offset environmental impact.
